Stephen and Janette Anastasia met in 1998 when they both auditioned into the Chamber Choir at Cal State Long Beach. During a mixer, each member was interviewed and introduced to the rest of the choir. Of all the 32 members, only Stephen and Janette referred to their Christian faith. Stephen said he wanted to be known as a “true disciple of Christ”, while Janette wanted to be remembered as a “woman of God”. This sparked a friendship that led to courtship and marriage in 2002. They’ve been singing together ever since. Both Stephen and Janette have felt the call to music ministry for many years, and after much prayer and waiting for God’s time, are finally launching a singing ministry, The Anastasia Family.
